Description
The main falls of Honey Bear provides a nice climb. This flow is narrow, so really only one line exists up it (with variations). The bottom half is reasonably steep, while the upper section has a lower angle. Descend by hiking off to the left of the climb. This descent is also an option for toproping the flow.

There are plenty of trees at the top which can be slung with webbing.
Just for history sake. Paul Piana did the first ascent in about 1978/79. He wrote an article for Climbing Magazine about it in around the same time.
Honey Bear falls of course was named for Honey Bear pool which it flows into. This pool was created by a small dam that was constructed a man that moved herre from Wisconsin named John Raeck. John also called himself the "Vagabond Poet", then later he called himself "Sylvan lake John". John was also the person who create the "Poet's Table" and "Paradise Retreat" A very memorable thing about John was that he had size 14 feet at least for they were huge. At the young age of 82 he could walk most 23 year old into the ground even if they were in good shape, cause he did me.
