Description

Has some good stuff. A lot of the problems, many of them not mentioned, will be better after more ascents since some of the rock is chossy.

How to get to the room with a view

Park in the Breezy Point parking area which is approximately 1/4 mile past the Wrinkled Rock parking area. Hike south (toward Hill City) to an old over grown dirt road. Walk roughly 50 yrd's and look right between some small trees for a trail leading down a steep hill. Follow this trail for another 100 yrd's or so and look for a new bike trail. Follow for 7-10 minutes. The first problems you will see are on the Bus stop boulder. Follow the trail another 50 yards up to the top of the hill then head straight up throw some small boulders. Keep walking staying to your right and you will run into the area... Good luck.

Right up to a bad slopey edge, tricky foot work that includes a left heel hook. Left hand goes up to a virtually nothing sloper for stability and then bump to a really small and bad three finger crimp. Probably an eighth of an edge. Walk your feet through and step on a right foot e...[more]   Browse More Classics in SD

Or... You can park at the parking lot of the Breezy Point Picnic area and follow the trail head that starts on the south east corner of the parking lot (opposite the bathrooms). Follow it for twenty minutes and you'll be at the bus stop boulder. You'll know your on the right trail when you see a thin pine tree trunk in the shape of an "S"
