  • Description

This is a reorganizational entry (thanks to Micah) to help facilitate the L->R sorting, because it "really doesn't make sense when you are going pretty much around an entire rock." This subarea will include routes from the South Face.

Much of this face is fairly low angle; however, in addition, the options for protection seem to be more limited than in much of The Garden.

    Getting There

Park to the southeast of Kindergarten Rock. Hike up established trails.

This is a short (50'-60') 4-bolt route on the SW corner of Kindergarten. The bolts are new-looking, but there is an older-looking blue sling hanging from a 2-bolt anchor. I've never seen the route listed in a book or online. I know nothing of its history. Feel free to comment on its grade. The route climbs fairly positive holds on solid rock. There is no opportunity for other gear, but the bolts are closely spaced by Garden standards....[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
