South Face, Lower Tier Rock Climbing
Checking out the Lower Tier
This area has a few face routes and a few cracks. Continuing all the way west on the skirt one can access the Upper Tier as well.
Park in one of the turn-outs mostly found on the right side of the road and head towards the granite. Takes anywhere from 2-4 minutes depending on the turnout. No real trail per se, then skirt the bottom of the south faces.

Just right of the bulging black south face of the base/skirt of Trapper Dome is a right trending ramp. Step up on the ramp to access crimps in the crease below a flake/crack feature near the top of the wall. Once established on the face work up a series of three left trending ramps while meandering left and right to connect features on the face.
