Description 

Right of the Open Book Area is an area of featured rock with crack and face climbing up to 4 pitches in length. A number of high quality lines are found here with Left Ski Track (5.6), The Chauvinist (5.8), Right Ski Track (5.9), The Unchaste (5.11a), Chingadera (5.11a) and The Heathen (5.11b) coming highly recommended.


Getting There 

Head right from Lunch Rock and continue uphill as the trail wraps around the rock. See the individual route descriptions for more detailed approach information.

Left Ski Track 5.6  CA : Tahquitz & Suicide Rocks : ... : South Face - Left Side
Left Ski Track is location 200 right and around for Open Book. 2 paralle right curving cracks in the middle of the South Face. It has a series of variation from 5.6 to 5.9.P1 - From the tree there is a sloping platform, walk out on to it next to the large block. I fyou keep going that will take you to the Chauvinist. Move up and over (can be hard to protect)then move left to a crack leading to the face between the "ski tracks".
