  • Description

Southern end of Gold Coast Cliffs. Home to North Carolina's adventure climbing and bushwhacking! The approach is long. Getting back to the car can even be longer and more challenging. It is advisable to be able to climb with everything you bring with you. Climbing out is the best way currently to get back to the car.

    Getting There

Start at the Pinch In trail head off of Kistler Memorial Hwy. Take the Pinch In trail down to the River Trail. Go north (up river)on the River Trail for about 1.25 Miles look for a small trail leading uphill to the left (west). Follow this Trail/bushwhack path uphill through a boulderfield for about 25 min to reach the wall. Appalachian Alpinism at the large right arching overhang. All routes listed are walk offs to get back to the car.
