DescriptionThe South, unlike Grosnez, does not contain the steep expanses of granite and soaring natural lines but, never-the-less, for those with time to explore the many bays and outcrops that make up La Landes Du Ouest, a few gems may be uncovered, and in some cases pioneered. The granite of the South differs to that of the North and North West and is often finer grained and can even be likened to gritstone or sandstone at times. The area is extensive and covers three main areas starting on the South Western tip of the Island. Getting ThereSeveral small crags may be found along the south coast. Parking is available at most of the areas decribed. |
