The southern buttress has a larger left-hand (southern) section and a smaller right-hand (northern) section. Routes will be described from left (toward Bridgeport) to right (north).

The left (south) aspect of the South Buttress has a pretty loose base of scree. Wade about 30 feet up the left side of the buttress on the loose scree to reach a niche. Climb up and right (toward the road) out of the niche along a flake (small cams) to a stance. Climb up the arête above past two bolts to a communal anchor.
