super lazy, don't have 4x4 for all the spots I already have scoped, gonna shoot out to mineral wells for a few puts then I'm off to the races, please help me with suggestions on places to visit places I am bummed my miata can't make it to; dutchman's draw and enchanted tower wouldn't mind bagging some peaks as well. no aid climbing, no mixed/ice climbing >double rack, endless draws, 70m rope, low clearance vehicle

You can hike to ET over the saddle. It isn't too bad, and takes just a little longer than driving the back way.

How about Mexico? El Potrero Chico is close to home, in season, and an easy place to arrive solo. Or if you're craving the steepness, El Salto is still closer than the Tower, accessible with low-clearance, and arguably higher quality climbing.

I think it would be hard to find partners for ET this time of year. If I was solo I'd go to Hueco and I don't even like bouldering that much. It would be hard to have a bad time there and finding partners would be really easy. I'd think that getting on North Mountain during the week would be easy since almost nobody is on break right now. Also, a lot of the climbing in AZ is in season right now and finding partners in/around Tucson should be pretty easy.

Minerals Wells is fun but short. You will have a dozen minutes of fun here. I highly recommend Enchanted Rock, just north of Fredericksburg...beautiful, clean granite.

AZ is in season, guess I'm heading that way!!! Just got back from Mexico, I'm still sore and tired! I'm bringing my silent partner, sorry, forgot to mention.

Have you been to mineral wells before? If not, I can't say it strongly enough: DO NOT GO TO MINERAL WELLS. As has been said above, it is terribly short, TR only, rock is shit and if that doesn't turn you off, the hoards of boy scouts/tourists that hike down there will. Aside from being the closest spot to DFW, there are no redeeming qualities. Living in Dallas, 10 out of 10 times I would rather drive 3-4 hours to Enchanted Rock than drive 1.5 hours to MW. I haven't been to Reimer's but have heard that is a fun place near Austin. Hueco is awesome, even if you're not a boulderer. But the bouldering scene is generally super friendly and inclusive, so being solo would be easy. There are a few bolted routes that I haven't climbed so I can't speak to quality, but they're there. YMMV.

I have a double rack, draws and a 70m rope. I am not bringing a crashpad. I'm not obliged to go somewhere(hueco tanks) where sleepwalking can turn into criminal charges, so please, only suggestions of rockclimbing destinations where freedom is allowed, this is America after all.

Last Chance and the Tunnel may be on your way. Those are worthwhile sport areas.
