From trail head up towards rock here.

Description

Small bouldering area on the northern most end of the West Bluff Trail. Main attraction here is Smooth Operator, but there is a few other fun boulders in the area.

Getting There

Drive in the north entrance to the park. Pull off at upper parking lot above the main park office. Head west from lot down trail and lone boulder right off trail. Boulders are up in talus just below cliffband. See this site:

for more details.

This area is just confusing now with all the problems. I think needs to be split into sub-areas. Any thoughts on areas? I am not familiar enough with all the problems to do this myself, or risk being wrong about placement of alot of the problems.

Hey Chris,

It might be convenient to divide this into three areas:

1. Smooth Operator (this would include the Weasel boulder and everything to the north of it).

2. Fat Raccoon Area (central)

3. Big Red Area (furthest south)

Alright. Will do this later on, and try to put the stuff in the right areas but I might email you and Ian to look at it and make sure it's all correct. Thanks.
