Description
A great place to get started.
One of the first major areas on the approach, it's pretty popular on hot days as the shade is abundant. Large boulders with a variety of climbing are found here from short steep and powerful, to low-angle traverses and sketchy highballs.
Getting There
Hike up the trail for 5-10 minutes. When you enter the canyon and the trail flattens out, it dips down a little and the large, dark boulders will be hugging the right side of the trail. The Slow Dance Cave faces the East Rim and cannot be seen from the main trail. Walk between the boulders where you will see the Corner Boulder perched just up-slope from the Slow Dance Cave.
