BETA PHOTO: Sleepwalking

Decent beginner's route; one obvious crux, big holds throughout.

Start at large, obvious crack; move up trending left, to right of bushes. Continue up, following path of least resistance. *hint: the route might zigzag a bit*

Bolted anchor at the top.

Ranger told me Sept 2010 that this route had nesting copperhead snakes near the finish. Nest area is currently roped off, and they added bolts at the top.

nice easy route, with good gear all the way.

Cool to start this one under the small tree just to the left of the off-width about 8-10 feet up. Knocks the route up to 5.5/5.6 and makes it a little more "direct"

I normally go to the left of the small tree once I get to the ledge that it's on. Make sure the rope is to the left of the tree before top roping. Learned the hard way.

The bolts are good for building an anchor for top roping. You will still need to build a gear anchor to bring up your 2nd.
