I would add that this area is part of the Overhaul Wall. A good trail leads left where the main trail crosses the stream to the right headed toward Gritscone. The trail leading left goes north and in about 5-10 min. you will be in front of the left end of the wall, make a right, pass the Motherland and cross scree and boulders entering the woods and keep going up hill.
