Contemplating the tricky crux of Pleasure Dome (5....

Description 

The right side of Slab City extends from Chaste, but Tasty (5.12a) right to Pleasure Dome (5.10b) which lies below the Metro Sector above some talus.

This area starts on ground level and as you move right the routes starting above a sloping talus field which requires a bit of a scrambling. Climbs here range in difficulty from 5.7 to 5.12c with most being somewhat slabby or following crack systems which require pro. Recommended routes here include White Light (5.7), Pleasure Dome (5.10b), Lovely Lady (5.10c), Pity Committee (5.11a) and Synchronicity (5.11c).


Getting There 

Once you reach the dirt road that paralles the base of the crag head right to the portion of Slab City where the base rises up to meet the Metro Area. Plan on a 5 minute approach from parking on the street.
