The Shooting Gallery, so named for it's proximity to the nearby shooting range is a south-facing collection of crags only a short distance from the car making this an ideal area if pressed for time. This area has a long history of climbing and much development due to it's close proximity to the parking area.
Routes here are half-a-ropelength or less with a good mix or bolted routes, cracks and toprope problems. Recommended routes here include The Overhang (5.9), Shotgun Wedding (5.10a), Bull's Eye (5.10b), Who's Flue (5.10c), Winchester (5.10d) and Black Powder (5.11a).
Hike about 0.5 miles from the parking area, passing along the western edge of the shooting range and then continuing north past the junction where the summit trail splits and heads west. The approach takes 15-30 minutes depending upon which portion of the crags you visit.
