Greg Barnes on the crux arete of Shine or Whine, C...

Cool cracks with jugs to a steep slab with big edges to a very exposed crux arete.

Down left around the corner from V-8 Crack, see the V-8 Crack photo. Take the finger to hand cracks to the left (north) arete of the pillar.

Pro thin fingers to 3" (single set of cams fine), 6 bolts, 2-bolt anchor with mussy hooks.

Loose rock on first half. Bolted half is fun climbing.
