Sharp Bridge Campground Rock Climbing
Looking for dry rock? Come to the OTHER side of the northway, and sample the quick-drying cliffs. Similar to Deadwater, this cliff is in an area typified by quick drying sandy soil, clean rock, and a remote feel, notwithstanding the mellow approach.
A couple very clean, aesthetic sections are split up by lichen-coated stripes. Some very unique holds and very grippy, fine-grained rock.
From northway exit 30, turn right, and go about two and a half miles until you reach the sharp bridge campground area (Round Pond/ East Mill Flow trailhead). Park on the left, and go through a gate adjacent to the creek. Hike a mellow dirt path into the woods past a trail register, over a bridge, and into a herd path to the right. Hike in the thick, jungly woods for about 10 minutes until you see a cliff. The herd path is prominent.
