Shangri-la. how do you get there?

After spending the weekend climbing at Eleven Mile, my wife and I tried to find Shangri-la. Im not sure the directions in the guidebook are correct. Although we didn't find it, we had a blast driving on all the 4x4 roads while looking. Anyone have any insight?

Thanks Lauren. I found the turn. It just when I get to the "seasonal" puddle where you make a left to go to Heavens Gate, I went stayed straight and thats where I got lost. Hit two dead ends after the meadow, and never came across a gate or a right turn. Ill def give it another go when things dry out up there.
