Steve Lovelace on Shang

Shang-High Boulder:

sit start on the lowest two, shallow, inward facing vertical side-pull rails. feet are on any good edges you can find. Bump and follow your way up these side pull crimp rails that run out four feet up.
From here, charge up and dyno far up to the bomber ledge above you. press up onto the ample ledge and follow that line up to the top of the boulder. the downclimb has yet to be negotiated due to the fact that it is still a project... (it doesn't look bad though)

Walk past the "S.L.S." Boulder.
as the trail meanders downhill, it appears you are leaving the boulders.
The trail will wrap left again and a sharp inclined rock adjutment will be seen. this is where you will find "Shang-High".
It starts the face that most faces the trail, and sit starts on two inward facing vertical side-pull rails. the rails are followed to where they end, and an ample dyno move is left to connect the line to the huge ledge that leads an easy climb out to the top.
