Description 

What this lackluster boulder field loses in size and quality, it makes up for with its proximity to Athens. However, there are a handful of decent, sometimes even excellent problems here, so if you are in the area, you might as well give it a shot.


Getting There 

From Athens, take Lexington Road/78 south east for about twenty minutes until you arrive at the Lexington city limit sign. The turn for shaking rock comes shortly after this and is marked by a tombstone with shaking rock carved into it.

I haven't personally visited the area, because its out of my way to get down towards Athens just to boulder, when I could drive the same distance and get to much better pebbles. But I still hope to get down there within the next year or so and would really appreciate an easier to understand topo/route descriptions/grades before I head down there.
