Has anyone ever set up a slackline from the South End of South Peak to the Southern Pillar? You think there is potential if it hasn't been done?

Possible but much less likely of locations (not really ideal terrain for setup but not impossible probably) would be across the Gunsight Notch and from the Cockscomb to the Face of a Thousand Pitons.

I'm feeling for ideas and trying to learn the limits at this amazing location. Trying to spice things up a bit. Thank you!

I had some friends set up the tyrolean between the peaks in the 90's and in the 70's and 80s over Roy Gap road... I think it's the last article in here.

I'd think hard before doing these, as they cause a lot of disruption to climbers because they take so long to set up. Maybe as a big fund raiser or something, where you could get like 50 people involved and reduce the walking between the peaks with a bunch of ropes hanging on really popular routes....

Nice rob! Thanks man. Two side questions for you: any caves in PA good to explore (worth it to you)? And you ever been to the caves in North Dakota? The ones that the Conns discovered or at least made famous?

I helped Bob Richardson and a cast of thousands set it
up in 1975. I didn't go over the thing though, chicken!

One thing I remember helping on the north side was when the
sun was blotted out by a huge ball of rope thrown over
the cliff. . .
