| My wife and I are hunting for a "different" destination for the last week of April.... ruling out Zion because the closures effect alot of the shady cragging. How's Sedona that time? Enough shady stuff? Oak creek conditions? Paradise Forks conditions? Thanks Andy | FLAG |

| Sedona should be beautiful that time of year, as will Oak Creek Canyon. They will likely be a bit warm in the sun, but great in the shade. Paradise Forks will be nice in the sun. If you are fine with cold nights then you should be OK. If you want more info or route suggestions let me know. HTH. | FLAG |

| Last week of april usually everything from flag down to sedona is really good. The biggest issue i have found weather wise is that it can be windy at that time. Make sure to take full advantage and hit sedona, the forks, and the waterfall, and if your ok with pebble wrestling priest draw is a really unique and amazing place. | FLAG |

| Spring in NAZ is notoriously windy, and can make some of the longer routes in Sedona less than enjoyable, though there is a lot to pick from. At that time of year though you could do a classic tour of the Winslow wall, Paradise Forks, the Waterfall, and select Sedona routes, and have a great time. Isolation Canyon is an hour and a half from Flag, and is also quite a stunning crag. | FLAG |
