Sharing from Reddit user /u/fuckingoverit: "Trad leader was 6 feet above last clip in a really nice crack. As he laid back, the wall came back with him, hitting his knee and spraining his ankle on the way down. Climber slammed his head into the rock, gashing it open (helmets people!). Rock was ~30 ft up directly above first gear placement. Falling climber lifted belayer within 6 inches of the falling rock which landed on the extra rope to the side of the belayer. Would have been certain death if the rock had been 6 inches to the left."
Not from the area, so I'm not sure how this will affect the route. Just figured it was relevant enough to post.
