A good cooler weather crag that sees little traffic. Lots of potential for first ascents of an eclectic style on highly featured B-grade wingate. The wall faces south-east/south and gives excellent views of the Kane Creek Valley.

Getting There

Drive down Kane Creek just past the Ice Cream Parlor, park at the cattle guard at a sign indicating that you're leaving Colorado Parkway Rec. Area. Cross the creek and follow a shallow drainage that forms a break in the chinle slope on the right. Two short cracks are encountered on the wingate walls you'll access immediately above the drainage, the right route being Creeker and the left Dante.

This fun route starts off in a right facing corner, with a 000's to 00's crack reaches a pod about twenty feet up and continues on as a rattly fingers crack that makes a cool corner change. Past the corner change the crack widens into hands and climbs into some slightly loose rock, arcs right and changes corners again to end in a deep cleft. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in UT
