Chris working on the Scoop problem.
Add Photo Printer View
Description Located on the Upper Egg, this is one of the harder grades in the area. Climb the obvious scoop on thin edges to a vicious top-out.
Location Follow directions to the Trailside Egg. The problem is uphill and right about 50 yards from the Trailside Egg and near The In-Between Egg.
Protection Kind of low, so standard pads and spotter on the lip.
Chris about to lunge towards the lip holds.

This line was F.A. by Jim Hausmann back in 1999. If any claim an earlier ascent please respond and we will reconsider the matter. Again another classic!! Luke Childers

Wiley, you crushed this line with such style!!! I can't wait to get the video of the send put up.

Definitely a great line. I gave it 4 stars, it felt around V7 to me. The top out is tough and that undercling thing put a nice hole in my ring finger. Cool ass formation.

It's kinda a jump start?

No, stand start on small crimps.

In the video, he jumps into the undercling off the ground. I was just wondering what the beta was for the start. It just feels super hard for me to make that first move with both feet and hands on the rock.

Ya, you're supposed to establish on the stone first, then move. No jump start. The first move is one of the hardest ones....
