The mix between synthetic rock (recreating natural formations) and gym holds allow for a wide variety of climb grades and routes. It is common to find more difficult routes (natural) on the same line as easier climbs using bolted holds. Since natural formations can not be changed its always interesting to create your own new problems within the route to add various difficulty.
