This area contains some good moderately graded problems. All the problems have good flat landings, and some of the best are on the shady North sides of the boulders. Ketron Classic is a great V4 with some complex moves on the 'Savannah Boulder', while Sucker Punch is a short sharp shock on the 'Fred Boulder'.

Getting There

Walk up the canyon from the Central Happiness Area. The first boulder encountered on the left is Girlfriend Rock.

Ketron Classic V4 6B  CA : Sierra Eastside : ... : Savannah Boulder
Start low on sidepulls, do a move or two up to the left-hand undercling and make a big stretch to a big right-hand sloper. From here use either the intermediate left-hand crimp, or dyno for the bucket with your left hand (crux). Top out with jugs. Good movement, great fun....[more]   Browse More Classics in CA
