BETA PHOTO: High Summits of the Geislergruppe; Sas R...
Know the location of this area? Show us! We don't know it, but we're working on cool new features that need it!

Description

The Sas Rigais is the highest summit of the Geisler Group, and is a major mountain summit of the Dolomites. It's also high enough to retain significant snow into early Summer, and is very Alpine in character. There is a very popular via Ferrata or Klettersteig route to the summit in addition to a route on the East Ridge. The prospective climber should be prepared with weather gear, since early Autumn snows are possible here.

Getting There

Established paths allow access from both the Regensburger Hut and Col Raiser Hut.
