San Gabriel Rock Climbing
San Gabriel is a mountain in the village of San Gabriel in Cajon de Maipo. San Gabriel itself has crags near the top, but there are other, smaller areas at the base, too.
From Las Mercedes metro stop in Santiago, take either a collectivo to Puente de San Gabriel (the last bridge before the village) or the MB72 to San Gabriel.

Start at a couple of trees below an obvious crack system that starts about a third of the way up the face (about 50 feet below the stream-facing slab). There is one bolt about 10 feet up as your first piece. Climb up to the bolt, and head straight up the crack system to the top.
