Bariloche is a mid sized town in Patagonia near the border with Chile. Opportunities for climbing abound in the surrounding mountains and countryside. Bariloche has everything from 5.14 clip-ups to the alpine playground of Frey.

This is a work in progress. More information to come. A three pitch route that goes to just below the summit block on Principal and can join with the Normal (5+) to finish to the top. Three excellent pitches of stellar crack climbing. A varied first pitch, a long beautiful dihedral second pitch and a beautiful hand crack on the third pitch. Went to the Frey in Dec 2013. There's not a lot to do in town, but I can recommend two restaurants: Alto del Fuego and La Marca, both near Club Andino. Great food at both spots.
