No vehicle access, but open to foot traffic MORE INFO >>>
Washington Climbers Coalition's permittee status under the landowner's easement with Washington State DNR has been revoked due to liability concerns and increased traffic. Vehicular access beyond the gate is currently not allowed. Gold Bar is still open to foot traffic. WCC and Access Fund are actively working with the landowner and DNR to find a solution. Stay posted at www.washingtonclimbers.org.
This information is a public crowdsourcing effort between the Access Fund,
and Mountain Project. You should confirm closures, restrictions, and/or related dates.

Keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment

Description A mega classic fun line of technical pinching and body tension. Start sitting matched on the obvious chalked "nose" at the bottom of the scoop and move up through opposing slopey pinches in the roof above the scoop, finishing with a pull to a great edge over the lip and a bucket. Feels wickedly sandbagged at first and then when you figure it out is dead on for the grade.
Location On the "Cracked Egg" boulder in the topo on this site. It's the obvious chalked line starting low in the big scoop on the southwest side of the boulder.
Protection pads - there's a rock right under your ass you will land on.
