RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. MORE INFO >>>

Description

Romper Room climbs the middle of the rectangular patch of black varnished rock to a two bolt anchor just under a roof. Follow cracks and flakes to the top. This route features more liebacking than its neighbor, Doobie Dance.

Great finger sized pro most of the way. I did not find it loose or hollow.

I enjoyed more that doobie dance. Both are worth doing. Good pro on both. Used a BD#4 on both routes, not needed but super easy.

This route is the best of a series of great moderate single pitch trad lines. Romper Room is a solid area to check out if you're looking for a more low key afternoon. Plus you've got Lotta Balls wall nearby for some bigger moderates. Routes get sun mid-day, but move into the shade in the mid- to late afternoon. Agree that this is better than Doobie Dance, but both are worth hitting.
