DescriptionThis crag has been a training area for Jasper mountaineers since 1968. The area has over the years been redone into a nice sport climbing venue close to town. Getting ThereDrive east of Jasper on Hwy 16 and turn onto the Maligne Lake Road. Turn left onto a pullout for the "5th bridge" and park. Hike across the bridge and turn left into the forest (towards 6th bridge). Hike for a minute or so then turn right again onto trail "7H". Climb up a steep hill and where trail "7h" goes right take an unmarked trail on the left. Follow this for about 10 minutes through open Douglas Fir forests, you are very close to the crag when you see a bit of a drop off on your left. Turn right for the Rock Gardens, going downhill and left will lead you to the Boulder Gardens, you have gone too far.
