Has anyone been to the parking area at PRMP for Bob Marley and the Chica Bonita areas? I was there there couple months ago and the road had a puddle so deep, you needed four wheel drive to cross it. Wondering if it's still in same shape, or if any work has been done. Thanks.

Hey Mike, its pretty bad still but I went through the pit on the high right and made it in a car. I know some work was done a month or so ago but haven't made it back out there. You open for climbing with new partners? I'm always looking for solid partners form Indy.

Hello Chad, thanks for the info. I made it through the first time going about 30 mph and did a hydroplane type crossing. Last trip, it looked worse, so I didn't try it. If they filled it in about a month ago, I might give it a shot next time. I'm open to climbing with new people. I should be at Hoosier heights around 11am Sunday. Looks like u climb a few grades higher than me, so maybe you can give me some pointers, like lay off the double whoppers.

Park at the lode. Its honestly ten minutes walking to the furthest crag in PMRP. It will also help with the double whoppers.

Awesome Mike, I will try to get there as well. Im a regular at the heights so you might recognize me. Looks like you like the alpine world? I'm big fan of big mountains and we are stuck in the worst place for that.
Hey Erick, sorry to here that. I hope that what ever you came to the midwest for is worth it! I get out as much as possible, most of that depends on partners. We can meet up in route south and that would help with your crazy drive. If you climb ice then the rotation can reverse in the winter months! Ill PM both of you my number. Call or text anytime. Mike, The road into Drive By/ Chica/ Bob Marley was fine as of two weeks ago in a 2wd car with decent clearance.
