Do to hurricane Sandy Round Pond and Tower Roads have been closed by the Pawtuckaway State Park officials. Not sure when they will be open/cleared but the park closed them to down trees and the likes.

Reservation Road is open and passable...

If anyone is looking to head out the park for climbing access the park by means of the Horse Farm off of Deerfield rd.

Anyone know if the gates are open yet going out to boulder natural?

I walked in from the horse farms on Saturday and met a few people at Boulder Natural that said they drove in from Reservation Road. They weren't from the area and weren't super sure where they parked when I asked but said they didn't see anything that looked like a road closure on the way in. Can anyone confirm that the road is now open again?

Last week you could get out to boulder natural but driving out to round pond there was a tree over the road. I couldnt pass under it in my nissan exterra by about a 1/4 inch, smaller vehicles could make it under. Leaving i went down to the fire tower and there was a tree blocking that road.

Talked to a guy out there on Sat who said the road is open and the tree gone.

All roads have are open and debris removed. The road has taken a beating the last 2 years. Enjoy.
