RIP Road Cut

Rain and wind took out a good section of Road Cut on Donner Summit the other day. Haven't seen the damage to routes yet but it was a big slide/fall and looks to be substantial (no more Penguin Lust, etc...). HW 40 still closed 2 days later to my knowledge.

If you look closely it appears as though it may have only been the route Totem Pile that fell (the irony is pretty good there). Penguin Lust appears to be intact, though not so sure about Spaceman Spiff and Transmog. etc. to the right.
