I stumbled upon this in the wasatch ( Draper Red Rock) and i would like to know how to fix it. it is quite new, as when i found it yesterday, it had fresh rock chipping in the A. so how would i repair this?

It is about 30 feet up this crag, and i think it would be best to fix it sooner than later, and keep our access here.

thanks.

Let's hope she said no, so there is less chance he will pass on his bad gene pool.

It looks like choss, so you might just be better off pounding it away with a sledge hammer than trying to fill it with epoxy and sand like you would with bolt holes. There obviously will be a big scar, but if you can get it to just look like rock fall hit it, it will be more natural looking then a bunch of epoxy.

I have a similar problem, but on solid clean granite out at Green's cliff in NH, where a dingus started chipping holds up a slab. In that case since it isn't writing and not quite so completely obvious, I decided it is best to just leave it and eventually the spots will darken back up.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
