Rent/Borrow Ice Climbing Boots Chicago area

I want to take a fried of mine ice climbing for the first time and was hoping to avoid him having to purchase gear without knowing if he wants to continue the sport.

Does anyone know of anywhere in the greater Chicago area to rent boots? Or does anyone in the greater Chicago area have a pair of 10-10.5 climbing boots that they would be willing to loan for a weekend? I would gladly purchase of beer for loaned boots.

Similar distance to Munising but if you make the trip to Sandstone, MN I have gear to rent out of the Minneapolis area. 15-20 pair of boots covering all sizes, 10+ pair of crampons, ice tools...

I also PMed and offered to ship a pair if he gets desperate.
