February 21st is the anniversary of the tragic and untimely death of Robert Drysdale.
I took this opportunity to upload some old photos of him. In his few short years in Flagstaff, he was certainly a force to be reckoned with. Priest Draw would not have been the same without him. Still missing you, good friend- DG
Wow Dave, thanks for sharing the photos and helping us to remember the passing of your dear friend. I was only able to meet Rob twice before his untimely end. Priest Draw and the Lake Mary Limestone would not what they are today without his strong grip. Rob you visionary, I'm raising a Foster's for you, wherever you are... Albert
Albert and Tim: As you guys know, Rob was all about the camaraderie of the motley Flagstaff climbing (riding/rafting/Alpine Happy Hour) scene, and it's my bet that he appreciates your toasts...wherever he is. I think I'll leave this up here for the rest of the week, and then move it to the memorial section (if I can). Sorry the pictures are so crappy.
Thanks for the post Dave. A raise of the glass for Robert Drysdale!
I just happened on this site today looking for some photos of The Pit ... very cool to see these photos and remember RD. What a great tribute to a fun guy.
Remember the 40 oz bottles he used to leave out at Priest Draw?
