Description

According to the Dixie Craggers Atlas, by Chris Watford, this climb has "jams so good you'll feel like Aaron Ralston!" The Arch follows a left to right arching crack. With a short traverse at the top to the anchors...watch for loose stuff.

Location

Winter wall. Just to the right of a free-standing pillar.

Protection

Trad rack. Long runners. Shares anchors with Hairdressers on Fire. This route can be led to set up H on Fire.

Climbed both Registration Arch and Hairdressers On fire this past Sunday(Nov 2009) and the tree in question had been cut off right where it touches the rock face. Registration Arch is now totally unaffected by the tree. Hairdressers On Fire is climbable without touching the tree but I'd say that judging by the chalk and shoe rubber on the tree some folks are using it to help them climb the route.
