Sandstone bouldering, very rough and hard on the hands. Some holds are suspect and should be checked. Sunny and windy in the middle of the ND prairie. Some caves to sit start and climb out of, nice landings. Bring spotter and pads.
Getting There
Take Highway 83 north of Bismarck for approximately 20 miles and turn east on Highway 36 towards Regan. Go 4.5 miles past the turn for Regan and the boulders are right next to the road on the south side. Overall about 17 miles from Highway 83. Turn south on the gravel and you can drvie right into the middle of the boulders.
All holds are suspect and this area is complete chossy garbage. It is a nice area to scramble around for 30 minutes and that's about it. I tried to pull on one of the more solid looking lines there and a chunk of sandstone the size of my head came ripping off.
