| I'll be passing through Red Rocks on my way to Yosemite around june 10th-13th and would like to climb 2-3 days to break up the drive. I know it's going to be hot... I'm in need of a partner on June 11th and 12th. Looking to specifically climb Triassic Sands, and maybe wholesome fullback, Ixtlan or The Schwa. Send me an e-mail at mr.bcstevensATgmail.com if you'll be around! | FLAG |

| if you like cracks i'm not sure wild turkeys will deliver... check out the gobbler direct start for an amazing pitch of crack before turkeys i don't understand why turkeys is a classic, it was one of the least enjoyable multi-pitch climbs i've ever done BUT i got on it excited for a crack climb so maybe my disappointment blinded me. for as unexpectedly great as the gobbler was for me, turkeys was equally unexpectedly not great. my opinion, jon p.s. i'm super down for black velvet in june, hit me up p.p.s. a classic in the same regard as t. sands is wholesome fullback, our father, or amber: cracktastic! turkeys doesn't feel very traddy to me (again, my opinion) | FLAG |

| I don't understand why DOWT is a classic either. In my opinion all the other routes surrounding it are much better. The Gobbler is a terrific direct star to Turkeys. Spark Plug is also a good way to finish off the day- just left of Refried Brains. Single pitch crack awesomeness. | FLAG |

| If Ixtlan was on your initial list Brian, I would recommend Unfinished Symphony...I just did it, and this would be just about the coolest (temperature wise)route you can land on in all of Red Rock, heavily recessed into the wall. Thought its 5.11d off width section was no more difficult than Ixtlan's 5.10d off width. Good Luck and enjoy! (I will have my write up of Unfinished on summitpost this week, Joanne and Jorge recommended I do the route and it was well worth it)
