Red Rocks in late May

Very aware this isn't the ideal time, but this is when I can take time off work. So...what are the coolest (temps) areas in Red Rocks to climb as much of the day as possible?

Or if you have suggestions as to best morning spots and best afternoon spots, that would be awesome.

Talking late May, so I'm well aware it will be warm and I need to bring lots of water.

Thanks!

Hey Sarah....

late May can be awesome in Red Rocks... often better than the more popular times!!
Actually the best time to climb Chrimson Chrysalis ( have been the only party ).. its in the shade...

Black Velvet wall n Whiskey Peak are just heavenly... in the shade... world class

Dark Shawdows... all day
Ice Box all day

Y2K.. in the p.m.

cheers..

Lou - thanks a ton! I've been there in Oct, Dec and Feb but never so close to summer. Hoping to make it out then and really appreciate your input. Happy day to you.

I think may and October are the two best trad climbing months in red rocks. Have a blast frog land is about as fun as five eight gets and if Your feeling saucy thats a perfect time for cloud tower and rainbow wall

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
