I'm thinking of making my way to miguels for awhile for some sport climbing. I have a rope and set of draws but I won't have any transport when I'm there.

How easy is it to find partners and people willing to give lifts to crags once you're there?

I got the same plan. No car, no partner but have a rope, quickdraws.
I did some research on the internet, forums etc., and they say it's quite easy to find a partner at Miguels.I hope so...
Anyway I'll hitchike from Lexington to Miguels since not having a car.
I found a guy in Lexington who used to do that, and will help me with som instructions.

I'll be there by 15th too. You can definately find partners in back of Miguels just about any hour of the day. The early birds move out before 9AM and those who sleep in, take half a day off and maybe head out by 3 or 4PM. You can't lose. Good luck.

You shouldn't have any problem at all, especially as it moves in =to high season at the Red. There are tons of bums there like yourself. Most have cars and they're always looking for partners.
