Sorry to bust your bubble Wade, I did this problem back in April of 2005. Named it Rieger (V6/7) after my friend who died in a car accident. RIP Mike Rieger. FA Joe Varela & Jason Russel.

I must ask, who thought it was a good idea to spray paint "Rieger" on this little six foot overhanging block?
By j.jaeger Nov 27, 2009
Chip: I think 'reiger' was written in chalk on this block at one point, but I've never seen spraypaint. Then again, I do not have Sherlock powers of observation. Where did it appear do you think?

Maybe it was chalk, but the word Rieger was prominently scrawled across the little overhang. I'm curious where the photo went? FWIW, Scott Hahn told me this problem was called Rieger in about 2005 or so, so that's what I always thought it was.

Scott also showed me the problems on this block a couple years ago....

Nope wrong again... I put that one up around 10 years ago, and I guess I forgot to add a tick on MP.com. I can't remember a date, soo I'm not sure if I should just add a random date? Anyways, you can't call someone out if you don't know the facts, if you would have searched the page a little more, you would have noticed that I didn't add a tick. I have been exploring in Clear Creek for 14 years for routes and boulders "mostly boulders", I think I have a bit more information than you think on the canyon. It would help in the future if you could research a little more and post your routes or boulders on MP.com a little sooner, the world would be a better place. Why does it really matter "who did what"? This Thread is a Deal Breaker example of how not to be in the climbing community or anywhere. Lots of Love. Wader
