| We're going to begin public beta testing of the Android mobile app this week. We'll probably start with a dozen folks this week and then slowly ramp it up. If you're interested in testing, please read this carefully:
- We will be emailing you an APK file (instead of a link to an app store). You will click this file to install the MP app, but this process does not work on all devices, especially older ones. We can't help you if this happens.
- The beta version does not require the $4.99/year data subscription, but the app will STOP WORKING on a specified date (about a month). The release version of the app will require a data subscription.
If you'd like to be a tester, reply below. Include the type of Android device you're using. We will probably not be able to include everyone who wants to test it, especially at first. If you don't get an email from us, sorry, but you'll have to wait a bit longer. |
