Recording single pitches

One thing that would be helpful and hopefully easy would be to change the pitches climbed option on routes- the original creator of each route page would still enter in the total pitches, but if you only climbed certain ones (or swung leads), you could tick which pitches you completed. One reason I would like this is to accurately reflect my monthly/annual pitches, and I'm sure other people would too.

This would be cool. At the moment I just write it in the tick description: Lead first pitch, followed second. Etc.

I do the same, but there are a lot of climbs in my area that just have nasty/not worth it second pitches. It would be nice to be able to reflect easily that I'm actually only climbing one.

Another reason may be that the pitches you climbed are less grade than the overall climb. I can see people would like that to be reflected.

That would also definitely be a reason, but in my case today, the first pitch was harder and more worthwhile than the second pitch (which got easier/flattened out, hit brambles/bushes I assume).
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
