Herzog Island can be easily waded to when the water is low upstream from Carderock, but wading in the Potomac is frowned upon by park rangers. Bring a canoe if you want to adhere to the letter of the law.

Description On the north end of the island, there's a crack in an overhanging wall. Climb the arete to the right of that crack.
Location North end of Herzopg / Vaso Island. By the place where you can wade across the Potomac.
Protection Small stoppers.
