Airation Buttress atop of the Thin Air Face
Add Photo Printer View
Description In my not so humble opinion, one of the best routes on the Airation Buttress. Superb climbing on perfect rock and a TOTAL CLASSIC when linked with Heather or Airation.
Location From the high point of the Buttress rap down about 100' to a 2 bolt stance OR from the top of Airation/Heather move Left for about 30'
Protection Bolts and pins. Anchor in the best hand crack on Cathedral at the top.
Toproping on a slightly rainy day.

| John, I just added a copy of that photo to this page. It looks like a cool line. |

| I got on this climb today and it was indeed fantastic. I attempted to lead it and wussed out above the piton. TRed it a few times and cleaned a bunch of lichen and moss off and now it seems much more reasonable. Definitely worth doing, especially if you link it with airation, makes for a great two pitch climb up that section of the wall. |
