Leading Ranger Danger.

Climb the center pillars of the curtain. Starts off really steep then eases up as you get to the top.

Center route of curtain.

Yeah Jon, I wasn't too sure about the grade. It's steep, but short. So does that warrant a WI3 vs 4? For sure the steepest line at G. Dodge.

Wow. First time Remo hasn't been a raging sandbagger.

Of course nobody knows or cares what ice ratings really mean anyway.

short, but vertical...main point is short. WI 3 at the most I would say.

my understanding is that WI 3 is up to vertical, this being vertical, though short, is still vertical. so i would say remo's original grading was accurate.

Length of the vertical has a lot to do with the grades as well. A soda straw is vertical if standing straight up, yet you could walk over it. Would you give it a 3? or actually a grade of 5, as it is completely uniform and would have zero rests if it were pure ice? And that is why ice is so interesting as a medium!
